I’m Johannes — a German-born, Amsterdam-based hospitality consultant with a deep love for people, places, and the art of great guest experiences.

For over 15 years, I’ve worked across Europe in both corporate and boutique hospitality for long and short term accommodation businesses. But while hotel systems are solid, it’s privately run stays and vacation rentals that truly capture the soul of hospitality for me. That’s where the magic happens — and where I’ve chosen to focus my energy.

I currently run a small BnB in Amsterdam that has become a guest favorite, earning nothing but 5-star reviews on every major platform (Airbnb, Booking.com, Google, Expedia, TripAdvisor). This hands-on experience keeps me connected to the realities of hosting, and has proven that exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence can go hand in hand — even in the smallest of spaces (check it out here).

Through my consulting work, I help hosts, property owners, and independent accommodation businesses become the best version of themselves. Whether it’s building an impactful online presence, improving guest communication, refining service design, or rethinking operations, I take a strategic but personal approach to elevate both guest satisfaction and business performance.
